I welcome inquiries from motivated students—at the undergraduate, master’s, and postdoctoral levels—who are passionate about food systems, agroecology, and the application of foresight and systems-thinking methods.

Current research projects are based in Mexico (Veracruz and Chiapas) and Canada (Quebec), and I am open to student-led research in other regions. I have a particular interest in supervising work based in Colombia, Cuba, and Brazil, but welcome interest from other contexts as well.

Postdoctoral and PhD Opportunities

At the moment, I do not have openings for postdoctoral or PhD positions.

Master's Students

If you are interested in pursuing a Master’s degree, I invite you to explore the Maîtrise en géographie or Maîtrise en sciences de l’environnement programs at Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), where I will be affiliated starting in 2026. These are francophone programs. Within the framework of these programs, I may serve as your thesis supervisor for projects aligned with my research areas.

For specific questions about program requirements, admission deadlines, or funding opportunities, please consult the official UQAM websites or contact the relevant program coordinators directly.
